Olive wood not only features a particularly attractive grain, it is also extremely hard due to its slow growth. The high oil content makes it non-slip, supple and water-repellent, so that olive wood is ideal for use in damp environments. Made in Germany. All our Redecker hairbrushes are hand crafted from natural materials. Choose the brush most suitable for your hair type and style: Wooden pins and bristle will not absorb heat during blow drying and are especially good for long and thick hair; metal pins work well for thick, curly and long hair but may absorb heat during styling with a hairdryer. Softer, light bristle is gentler for sensitive scalps and suits most hair types; stiffer, black boar bristle is good for long hair and thick hair but may be used for all hair types. Generally, for longer or thicker hair a larger brush head and longer pins or bristles works best, but it is a matter of personal preference. We also offer gentler brushes for children and babies, plus a fibre brush for vegans.

Materials

This brush is composed of waxed olive wood with stiff, black wild boar bristles and maple pins. The wild boar bristles used for this item are a product of waste; no animal was directly harmed in the making of this product. Size: 21.5 cm.

How to Use

To clean, regularly use a brush comb cleaner to remove hair, dirt and dust.
