Mino Yaki is a generic term for all ceramic ware produced in Mino (in particular Higashi-Mino (Eastern Mino)) region. In fact, the region produces more than half of ceramic pottery ware produced and sold in Japan. Each bowl is stylish unique, beautiful and elegant, perfect for daily use, entertaining or a formal dinner, party, restaurant are perfectly match.

END OF LIFE

Stoneware and ceramics, including dishes, are technically recyclable and  biodegradable, but extremely heat-resistant, which makes commercial recycling unlikely. Recycle by donating or if broken, for uses in art projects, driveway underlayment and gravel pathways. The shards can be added to the bottom of garden pots or soil beds to aid with good drainage.

HOW WE PACK IT

We repurpose all packaging materials we receive for order shipments, including any cardboard boxes, paper, tissue, and corn-based packing peanuts. We use recyclable paper tape with water activated adhesive. Sometimes, plastic wrapping falls on our hands from certain vendors. We keep it for situations where a bit of bubble wrap will help better protect your product. 

We encourage you to repurpose it and keep it going around :)
