This is the lantern for grouping. It is so versatile complementing the other designs. And the texture of the wood infuses this lantern with the character and laid-back luxe of this design period.

MATERIALS

The Lantern Cozies are offered in black walnut. All the wood is sourced in Canada. Wood is a natural product so the grains vary on each piece which makes it more wonderful to look at. The illumination creates a lovely pattern for making that event extra special. 

HOW TO USE

For normal use, you can use candles in all sizes, but we prefer a smaller candle, around 3" so the light is cast up into the openings. The effect is really dramatic.

The Lantern Cozie is shipped with an oil based finish (kosher, non-solvent oil) so it minimizes finger prints and stains. It is a natural product. If you get wax on the cozie, take it off the vase and put it in the freezer. Once the wax is frozen it will pick off the wood quite easily.

It is not dishwasher safe. The recommendation for the lantern/vase/glass is to hand wash.

END OF LIFE

The glass jar is recyclable in glass recycling or single stream recycling. The wood cover is 100% compostable.

BRAND

We are Lantern Cozies and we create beautiful lanterns. Their shape is simple, almost minimal, leaving lots of room for creativity. Our lanterns are practical yet fanciful with designs inspired by nature, textiles, family traditions and ancient texts.

The cozies are made using classic North American wood species - maple, white oak and black walnut. Our finishing process does not contain any dyes, perfumes or additives.

We are very choosy. We hand select each piece of wood and take great care to ensure the walnut is a rich chocolate, the white oak has a consistency of grain, and  the maple is light and clear.  So light your lantern and sparkle your night.

Delivery schedule: Our local delivery drivers collect orders every Monday and Thursday and will have them to your door within twenty four (24) hours of the time they picked them up.

*NOTE for CONDO and APARTMENT buildings, please leave a phone number where we can reach you when we are on our way. We will call you and leave the package outside your building, our team is not able to buildings. Please enter buzzer number when applicable and any indication that package can be left with concierge or at lobby.

HOW WE PACK IT

We repurpose all packaging materials we receive for order shipments, including any cardboard boxes, paper, tissue, and corn-based packing peanuts. We use recyclable paper tape with water activated adhesive. Sometimes, plastic wrapping falls on our hands from certain vendors. We keep it for situations where a bit of bubble wrap will help better protect your product. 

We encourage you to repurpose it and keep it going around :)
