The Opinel pruning shears, available in two colours, slate and meadow green, are comprehensive tools for safely and efficiently cutting dead branches and pruning shrubs and fruit trees. Their durable stainless steel blade has a cutting capacity of 20 mm.

Blade: Made from high-performance European stainless steel (hardness 55-57 HRC). It offers high corrosion resistance, excellent edge retention, and withstands wear even when cutting harder materials like tomatoes or kiwis.
Handle: PEFC-certified beechwood from sustainably managed forests in the Jura and Vercors regions. The handle is strong, durable, and protected with a clear varnish to resist moisture and dirt.

Hold the shears firmly with the beechwood handle in your palm. Place the blade on the side of the branch that stays on the plant, and the counter-blade on the part to be removed. This ensures a clean, precise cut. Lock the shears when not in use for safety.
