Choose the brush most suitable for your hair type and style: Wooden pins and bristle will not absorb heat during blow drying and are especially good for long and thick hair; metal pins work well for thick, curly and long hair but may absorb heat during styling with a hairdryer. Softer, light bristle is gentler for sensitive scalps and suits most hair types; stiffer, black boar bristle is good for long hair and thick hair but may be used for all hair types. Generally, for longer or thicker hair a larger brush head and longer pins or bristles works best, but it is a matter of personal preference.
