This brush is composed of oiled beechwood, stainless steel, and horsehair. The horse hair bristles used for this item is a product of waste; no animal was directly harmed in the making of this product.

Separate the wooden pieces from the metal pieces. The metal components are recyclable with metal recycling or single stream recycling, and the britsles and wooden pieces are compostable.
