Matter Company, founded in Toronto in 1996 by Denise Williams, offers luxurious all-natural skincare inspired by traditional herbalism. With a background in environmental science and herbalism, Williams formulates skin salves and ointments using therapeutic herbs, plant extracts, and essential oils, avoiding parabens and petrolatum. Tea Tree Essential Oil: Antiseptic and anti-inflammatory; promotes healing for wounds, bites, burns and irritated skin.

This product comes packaged in reusable, recyclable aluminum tin.

This product is a natural-based alternative to ointments, often composed of harsher ingredients and packaged in single-use containers.

This product is made of compostable ingredients. We recommend that it be used until finished and the container can be repurposed or recycled.
