Why pearl powder?
Pearl powder is used in Traditional Chinese Medicine as a beauty tonic with 3 key features: calcium, conchiolin, and antioxidant superoxide dismutase (SOD).
Pearl is also the most bioavailable form of Calcium, a key electrolyte that regulates muscle function, nerve function, maintains strong bones and teeth, and maintains healthy skin and promotes hair growth.
Conchiolin, a protein, stimulates collagen synthesis, has anti-inflammatory properties to help soothe and calm irritated and acne prone skin, and helps regulate melanin production (skin pigmentation) which can help reduce the appearance of dark spots.
Superoxide dismutase (SOD) is a naturally occurring antioxidant enzyme that helps to protect the body against oxidative stress, which can damage cells and contribute to aging and disease.
Marine collagen is purest and safest sourced of collagen, it is also considered the best source of collagen for medicinal purposes, given its bio-availability (1.5 times more bovine) and superior absorption. Marine collagen peptides are smaller which allows the body to more easily digest and absorb its amino acids. As Type I, it has the highest amount of amino acids glycine, proline, hydroxyproline (2x more than bovine, 4x more than chicken) – these amino acids are what gives you beautiful, and glowing, healthy skin.
A daily electrolyte
Most electrolytes are high in sodium; however, most people consume too much sodium from their diets and not enough potassium. So taking a high sodium electrolyte isn't beneficial unless it's post workout. That's why our electrolyte has 8.5x more potassium than sodium, all naturally occurring from coconut water, to support your electrolyte balance even when you're not exercising.
How to use post workout
Sodium is necessary for maintaining fluid balance in the body. However, too much sodium can lead to high blood pressure, which is a risk factor for heart disease and stroke. However, post workout, you do want a higher amount of sodium to potassium, but why pay for more salt? Instead, we recommend adding a pinch of himalayan salt to your glass of Electric Beauty if you are using this post workout.

We repurpose all packaging materials we receive for order shipments, including any cardboard boxes, paper, tissue, and corn-based packing peanuts. We use recyclable paper tape with water activated adhesive. Sometimes, plastic wrapping falls on our hands from certain vendors. We keep it for situations where a bit of bubble wrap will help better protect your product.
We encourage you to repurpose it and keep it going around :)
