Loved for their unique weathered appearance, our Aged Clay Pots and Saucers are hand thrown and made using original techniques and processes handed down through many generations and dynasties. Each Pot is individually distressed using old clay and powdered moss is rubbed into the porous surface. The pots are then cured in acres of Chinese farmland where the moss begins to grow and the pots take on their characteristic antiqued and naturally weather appearance. Available in antique black stone finish, the colour, natural moss, and aging will vary from pot to pot. Truly wabi-sabi in nature, they are praised for their imperfections and wanted for their imperfectly aged appearance.

END OF LIFE
END OF LIFE
Stoneware and ceramics are technically recyclable and biodegradable but extremely heat-resistant, which makes commercial recycling unlikely. Recycle by donating, or if broken use for art projects, driveway underlayment and gravel pathways. The shards can also be added to the bottom of garden pots or soil beds to help with good drainage.

Any questions?
Why are many of your home goods more expensive than typical home tools or kitchen products?
Most conventional home products are made with cheap plastics designed to be replaced often.
Our collection focuses on durable materials, thoughtful craftsmanship, and long-lasting performance, so you buy fewer items over time.
Many of our products are handmade or produced by small brands that prioritize ethical production and sustainable materials.
Where are your products made?
We prioritize products made by independent makers, with many items produced in Canada, Europe, and other regions known for craftsmanship.
Each product page lists the country of origin so you can make an informed choice.
Are these products actually durable enough for everyday use?
Yes. Every product in our home collection is selected for real-life performance.
We test and curate items that can stand up to everyday household tasks—from dishwashing brushes to textiles and cleaning tools—so they look beautiful but also work exceptionally well.
Are these products eco-friendly?
Our goal is to help you reduce waste without sacrificing quality. That means prioritizing:
- Natural materials
- Plastic-free or low-plastic designs
- Long-lasting construction
- Reusable alternatives to disposable products
Buying fewer, better things is one of the most effective ways to reduce household waste.
