This is a nifty special pot baskets, called Lady’s bag or Lady’s purse. Locally used for carrying and storing small personal belongings. You can also use it in the kitchen for storing e.g. onions or garlic, or in bathroom for small items or cotton. Or fill this small and adorable basket with cookies or Easter eggs, and you have the most adorable gift for someone you love!
Woven using elephant grass coloured with non-toxic fabrics and vegetable dyes.
Dimensions: height (with handle) 20 cm, diameter 15 cm
The basket is made of natural veta vera i.e elephant grass straw. Fully vegan. Avoid long-time use in humid conditions. Should the basket loose its shape, hydrate it lightly, and restore its initial form. Allow it to dry in a well-ventilated room. Colours may fade in contact with direct sunlight. Caution: this product may splinter.

BRAND
The word "mamaa" means "fair/equal" in the local Napti language of Nabdam District in Northern Ghana where our shea producers and basket weavers live. The logo of Mamaa is inspired by Ghanaian Adinkra symbol "Fawohodie" which stands for "independence, freedom and emancipation". We believe in fair trade and direct links with our trading partners.

Delivery schedule: Our local delivery drivers collect orders every Monday and Thursday and will have them to your door within twenty four (24) hours of the time they picked them up.

We will call you and leave the package outside your building, our team is not able to buildings. Please enter buzzer number when applicable and any indication that package can be left with concierge or at lobby.

We repurpose all packaging materials we receive for order shipments, including any cardboard boxes, paper, tissue, and corn-based packing peanuts. We use recyclable paper tape with water activated adhesive. Sometimes, plastic wrapping falls on our hands from certain vendors. We keep it for situations where a bit of bubble wrap will help better protect your product.
We encourage you to repurpose it and keep it going around :)
