Hotty Balm Moisturizer - Dry to Mature Skin

The Hotty Balm Mature to Dry was the original 'wrinkle' cream with rose and frankincense essential oils. This light facial balm is made from a fusion of timeless plant essences, herbs and vegetable oils with shea butter and beeswax to naturally brighten and rejuvenate skin. Known for its exceptional ability to soothe damaged, dry and cracked skin, this balm can be used head to toe. It creates a light topical, breathable shield from external elements allowing the skin to lock in natural oils and keep pollutants out.

Every ingredient adds a special element to this beautiful balm. Beeswax is one of nature's most valued moisturizers. Derived from the transparent fluid that is produced by a bee from its hexagonal booths, pure beeswax is safe and compatible to the human skin. It adds to the skin's moisture by boosting the natural oil supply. It also has antimicrobial properties and is known to be helpful with eczema and other skin irritations. 

Shea Butter is an important part of this base. For thousands of years, humans have applied and consumed shea butter for its skin-protecting properties. It is very rich in Omega-6 linoleic and Omega-9 oleic Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs), which comprise over 50% of shea butter by weight. It also contains large, naturally-occurring concentrations of retinol, which is clinically shown to reduce wrinkles, as well as various highly beneficial naturally-occurring UV absorbers, antioxidants and Omega-3 EFAs. It also has a natural SPF of up to 8. 

Shea butter is reported to be a natural moisturizer and emollient, as well as a competent cell regenerator. Directions: After cleansing face, warm a small amount in the fingertips and gently smooth onto face using an upward circular motion. Pat product in around the eye area so as not to pull this fragile skin area.
